Editorial policy

Editors assign the grade. A store cannot pay to change a letter. The rubric is public on How we grade.

If we run a sponsored placement later, the page will say Sponsored, and the offer still has to pass the same rubric. A payment is not a grade.

We do not show vote counts or comment counts. A grade is the editor’s call, written down so you can argue with it from the lesson.

When a price returns to normal before the offer was set to end, the page stays up with Class Dismissed and the original grade. Corrections belong on the page, in the lesson or the teacher’s note.

We do not copy another site’s deal write-up. A grade is original analysis: the price, the other stores, and the seller.
