Should you buy now or wait for Black Friday?
Our grade is a C, an ordinary price. If you can wait, we would: today's $249.99 is $20 above the lowest price we've recorded ($229.99 on Dec 4, 2025), so $229.99 or less is the price to wait for.
What's a good price for the Alienware AW3225DM?
A good price for the Alienware AW3225DM is $229.99 or less: the lowest of the 3 prices we've recorded from May 24, 2025 to Oct 21, 2026. Our rubric says a price at the bottom of an item's history, and not one that pops up every week, can earn an A or a B. Anything over $250 is above every price we've recorded, and our rubric gives a price above an item's usual range a D or an F.
Lowest recorded: $229.99 on Dec 4, 2025 at Best Buy.
The 'was' price of $299.99 is above the highest price we've recorded ($250). It earns no credit: we grade the real price.
The grade also weighs what other stores charge and who's selling it. How we grade.
