Should you buy now or wait for Black Friday?

Our grade is a C, an ordinary price. If you can wait, we would: today's $149.99 is $13.99 above the lowest price we've recorded ($136 on Oct 26, 2025), so $136 or less is the price to wait for.

What's a good price for the Shark HP152?

A good price for the Shark HP152 is $136 or less: the lowest of the 4 prices we've recorded from Oct 30, 2024 to Oct 28, 2026. Our rubric says a price at the bottom of an item's history, and not one that pops up every week, can earn an A or a B. Anything over $149.99 is above every price we've recorded, and our rubric gives a price above an item's usual range a D or an F.

Lowest recorded: $136 on Oct 26, 2025 at Shark.

The lesson

Normal price, not a deal. It's $149.99 at Target. In October 2025 it dipped to $136. It covers rooms up to 650 square feet and its filter is rated to last five years. Ignore the $249.99 'was' price; we'd wait for Black Friday to see if it gets back near $136.
