Should you buy now or wait for Black Friday?
Our grade is a B: a good price, not a standout one. Today's $1,199 is the lowest price we've recorded, so if you need it now, it's a fair buy. If you can wait for Black Friday, an alert will tell you if it earns an A.

Ties the lowest price we have found: Walmart had it at $1,199 on Sep 24 and Oct 18, 2026. For context, HP's OMEN 16 with the same CPU and GPU but a 512GB SSD was $1,099.99 on Jul 24, 2026. The $1,899 "was" price is not one we have seen it sell for.

What's the lowest price recorded for the HyperX OMEN 15 Gaming Laptop (Ryzen 7 8745HX, RTX 5060)?
$1,199, on Sep 24, 2026, Oct 5, 2026, Oct 18, 2026, Oct 26, 2026 and Oct 27, 2026. That's from 6 dated prices we've recorded between Sep 24, 2026 and Oct 27, 2026.
The lesson
Shopping for an RTX 5060 laptop with room for a real game library? Walmart has the HyperX OMEN 15.3 for $1,199, with a Ryzen 7 8745HX, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and a 2K 165Hz screen. That matches the best price we've found, but it also hit $1,199 in September and earlier in October 2026, so it's a repeat price, not a rare one. Skip the $1,899 "was" figure. Good buy at this price, just don't rush for fear of missing it.
